Tequila, Agave, & Orange Blossom Cocktail
Orange Blossom water, agave syrup, grapefruit, and lime juice give this tequila cocktail a unique twist. This following recipe is for 1 cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Tequila of choice
- ½ oz Agave Syrup
- 1 oz grapefruit juice
- ½ oz lime juice
- 4 dashes of Angostura bitters
- ½ tsp of Orange Blossom water
- 1 egg white
- A slice of orange, as garnish
Instructions
- Combine the tequila, Agave syrup, grapefruit juice, lime juice, Angostura bitters, and Orange Blossom water in a shaker tin.
- Shake well until the Agave syrup is mixed into the other ingredients.
- Add ice and shake again, until the ingredients are fully chilled.
- Strain into a chilled glass and place in the fridge while you prepare the egg white.
- In a dry shaker with a few ice cubes, add the egg white, and shake hard for 3-4 minutes, or until the egg white is foamy and stands on its own.
- Pour the egg white foam over the chilled cocktail you prepared earlier.
- Garnish with a small slice of orange and serve immediately.
Notes
You can add a sugar & salt rim to the glass if you want to make this a bit more fancy.
