Ingredients
Sauce
- ⅓ cup golden honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chili sauce
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- Sesame seeds if desired
- Minced green onion, garnish
Pork
- 2 pounds thin-cut pork chops
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp fresh ground salt
- ¼ tsp cracked pepper (or to taste)
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Put together the sauce by warming all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
- Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together cornstarch, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Cut the chops into ½-inch thick strips (about 2-3” long each).
- Toss the pork strips into the cornstarch blend. Make sure all sides are covered.
- Take out your skillet again, put in the sesame oil, and warm over medium heat.
- Put a few strips at a time in the pan, taking care not to crowd them.
- Sear for 2-3 minutes and move the pork to a plate.
- Once all the strips are seared, put them back into the pan with the honey sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Toss the pork with sesame seeds and green onion before serving over your chosen starch.
