Honey Butter Glazed Carrots

One of the staple vegetables was a simple dish consisting of boiled peeled carrots, finished with a honey butter glaze.
They are simple, sweet, buttery, and incredible.

Ingredients

  • 5 carrots, peeled & cut into large pieces
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Kosher salt & freshly-ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions 

  • Boil carrots in water with 2 tsp kosher salt.
  • Cook until the carrots are completely tender.
  • Drain the water and return carrots to pot.
  • Add the butter and honey, and stir to coat.
  • Season with kosher salt and freshly-ground black pepper to taste.

Notes

These carrots taste great reheated, and serve as a simple and amazing side whenever you are looking for something quick, delicious, and easy.
