Coquito
This delicious and fairly sweet drink originates from Puerto Rico and includes flavors of coconut, baking spices, and rum.
Ingredients

cream of coconut
48
oz
sweetened condensed milk
48
oz
evaporated milk
2
tsp
ground cinnamon
2
tsp
ground nutmeg
2
tsp
vanilla extract
1
bottle of rum,
white or spiced (750mL)
Cinnamon sticks,
for garnish
Instructions
In a large pot on the stove, combine the cream of coconut, the condensed milk, evaporated milk, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
Bring to a simmer and stir to combine.
Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
Add vanilla extract and rum.
Stir to combine.
Pour the liquid into cleaned glass bottles and chill in fridge for serving.
Serve over ice, with a cinnamon stick or two as a garnish.
Notes
Make a batch of this before a big party when you have cold weather. Any leftover coquito can be stored in the fridge for a week.
