Puff Pastry Triangles Stuffed with Feta, Olives, Dates, and Cream Cheese
The cheesy snacks are great to serve before dinner when hosting a crowd.
Ingredients
- 16oz cream cheese, softened
- 12oz feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1 cup pitted black, chopped
- ¾ cups pitted dates, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh chives, finely sliced
- 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets
- 2 whole eggs (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Remove puff pastry sheets from freezer.
- When the sheets are soft enough to separate and work with, cut each sheet into long strips that are roughly 3” wide.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, feta cheese, heavy cream, celery, olives, dates, and chives until the mix is combined thoroughly.
- Place roughly 2 tbsp of filling on the end of a puff pastry strip.
- Roll the end of the strip containing the filling in a way that folds the bottom edge towards the side of the strip.
- This is the beginning of your triangle.
- Continue to roll while maintaining the triangular shape.
- When you have reached the end of the strip, place a small amount of filling on the outside of the triangle to seal the end of the strip to the triangle.
- Brush the outside of the top of each triangle with a very light coating of the whisked eggs.
- Place the wrapped triangles onto a piece of parchment on a sheet tray.
- Bake in the oven at 375F for 20 minutes, or until the triangles are golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly and serve while hot.
Notes
You can make the triangles a day in advance and store them in your refrigerator.
