Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled margarita glass.
Dip the rim of the glass into a dish containing a mix of flaky salt & ground cayenne pepper.
*Use a small amount of cayenne pepper, less than ¼ tsp in the salt mixture.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and finely-sliced jalapeno with seeds.
Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
Strain the mixture into the salt- and cayenne-rimmed glass, filled with ice.
Garnish with fresh pineapple and jalapeno slices.
